What is virtual try-on?
Virtual try-on uses technology to show how a garment looks worn — either on a shopper or, for brands, on a generated model.
Virtual try-on (VTO) is any technology that visualises clothing as worn without a physical fitting. There are two broad kinds: shopper-facing try-on (a customer sees clothes on themselves or an avatar) and brand-facing try-on, where a brand generates on-model product imagery with AI.
Pixefit focuses on the brand-facing kind. You upload a flat-lay garment photo, pick a consistent AI model, and generate photorealistic on-model images you own and publish — for product pages, lookbooks and ads.
Because the same model identity, lighting and framing carry across every product, virtual try-on lets a brand shoot an entire collection that looks like one cohesive, professional photoshoot.
