What is packshot?

A packshot is a clear, well-lit studio photograph of a product shown on its own, typically against a plain white background. In fashion it's used for catalogs, marketplaces and product grids where a clean, distraction-free image is required.

Packshots are precise but, like flat lays, they don't show the garment worn. They make an excellent input for AI try-on, though: the clean isolation and even lighting give the model the most accurate read of the garment's colour and shape.

If you already produce packshots for your listings, you can convert them into on-model imagery without any new photography.
